Tottenham Hotspur and manager Antonio Conte have parted ways by mutual consent, the club announced on Tuesday. Conte, who joined Spurs in November 2021, has left the club after 18 months in charge.
Under Conte’s leadership, Tottenham finished fourth in the Premier League last season and reached the final of the Carabao Cup. However, the team has struggled this season, sitting ninth in the table and being eliminated from both the Champions League and FA Cup.
Conte, a former manager of Chelsea, Juventus, and Inter Milan, has won league titles with each of those clubs. He is known for his tactical acumen and demanding style of management.
