Timberwolves Led by Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns Avoid Elimination in Spectacular Fashion

DENVER -- The Minnesota Timberwolves, fueled by the dynamic duo of Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns, have pulled off a stunning victory over the Denver Nuggets to force a thrilling Game 7 in their NBA playoff series. Despite Nikola Jokic's impressive 40 points and 13 assists, the Timberwolves rallied in the second half to secure a 112-97 triumph.

The Nuggets, who entered the game as heavy favorites with Jokic poised to claim his third MVP trophy, struggled to contain the explosive Timberwolves offense. Edwards, the 2023 NBA scoring champion, poured in 34 points, while Towns added 29 points and 13 rebounds. The Timberwolves' defense also stepped up in the second half, forcing turnovers and limiting the Nuggets to just 39% shooting from the field.

The Timberwolves had previously lost the first two games of the series in Denver, but they have now regained home-court advantage and will host the decisive Game 7 on their home floor. The Nuggets, meanwhile, must now enter a must-win situation as they seek to advance to the second round of the playoffs.
