Switzerland has been drawn into Group A of Euro 2024 alongside Hungary, Scotland, and Germany. The draw took place in Frankfurt, Germany, on Saturday, October 9, 2023.
Switzerland, ranked 14th in FIFA's world rankings, will face a tough challenge in Group A. Germany, the reigning world champions, are ranked 1st in the world, while Hungary and Scotland are ranked 35th and 40th, respectively.
Switzerland's first match will be against Hungary in Budapest on June 14, 2024. They will then face Scotland in Glasgow on June 18, 2024, before concluding their group stage campaign against Germany in Munich on June 22, 2024.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage of the tournament. The final will be held at Wembley Stadium in London on July 14, 2024.
